Rope by the foot is listed as 1ft.  This rope will come in a continuous length.  For example, if you ordered 10 feet of rope, you will be shipped 10 continuous feet of rope and not 10, 1ft. pieces.

A double braid rope refers to a braided rope cover over a braided rope core. Basically, it is a rope over another rope. These ropes are flexible and easy to handle. This double braid rope is spliceable. Double braid rope is often called yacht braid and can be made with combinations of fibers or the same fibers. **This rope is a soft standard premium double braid polyester

    Used a lot of this during my sailing career. Now using it for horse reins and lead ropes as are apparently a lot of other folks. Great order turnaround and shipping from CBknot. I’ll shop here again.

    There is something that has changed with the inside of the cord. The white part looks different and does not splice very easily. It is like it doesn't have any give. It is more of a struggle to get splicing completed.

    Wish they would burn the ends, but besides that, it has a very night weighted feel, just like expensive clinician tack.

    Works well for horse lead ropes and reins... I will be buying more and would give it 5 stars if it was a little tighter woven.

    Excellent Rope

    I have been making reins, lunge lines and leads for many years. I find this double braid polyester to be one of the best. It has enough weight for what is needed, resists snags and is easy to splice the ends. Recommended highly- great value and great price. The folks at Columbia Basin are wonderful to work with.

    Ordered this for a client that wanted several lead ropes in stable colors (burgandy, black & tan). She loved it and it worked up beautifully.
