AmSteel®-Blue is a torque-free 12-strand single braid that yields the maximum in strength-to-weight ratio and, size-for-size, is the same strength as steel—but it's so light, it floats. AmSteel®-Blue is an excellent wire rope replacement with extremely low stretch, and superior flex fatigue and wear resistance.  7/64" is only 8 strands.

    This is great stuff, I used it to make whoopie slings and soft shackles for my hammock. It is easy to work with, and Liam at cnknot was super helpful, and got my order to me super quick.

    I just recently learned new ways to work with this rope. It is great UCR's are cool!
