Rope by the foot is listed as 1ft.  This rope will come in a continuous length.  For example, if you ordered 10 feet of rope, you will be shipped 10 continuous feet of rope and not 10, 1ft. pieces.

Rope Construction: Double Braid Polyester

A double braid rope refers to a braided rope cover over a braided rope core. Basically, it is a rope over another rope. These ropes are often flexible and easy to handle. Most double braid ropes are spliceable. Double braid rope is often called yacht braid and can be made with combinations of fibers or the same fibers. To get a stiffer or firmer double braid rope, the cover can be braided tighter which increases its “hardness.”

    Perfect for what I needed!

    I wanted to make my own halters and leads for specific ideas I was having. Other's that were making the product had ridiculous prices. It took work, but I feel better about doing it myself and paying great prices for the product. The product has worked as expected. I used it for 4 knot horse halters and unfortunately the knots aren't wanting to stay put. I chose the soft rope as I wanted it to be soft and not stiff.

    The rope is great for rope halters. Love the colour selection. Our customers are always happy as the rope isn’t stiff. We also use the 1/2” & 9/16” for the lead ropes in matching colours. Ships within a week up to a small town in Canada!

    I bought about 60ft of this so that I could make rope halters. It's nice and pliable, but it's firm enough that it's easy to work with the knots. The colors are also very bright. I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking to start making rope halters.
