A double braid rope refers to a braided rope cover over a braided rope core. Basically, it is a rope over another rope. This rope is flexible and easy to handle. This rope is spliceable. Double braid rope is often called yacht braid and can be made with combinations of fibers or the same fibers.

Hard to splice
Nice rope except the cover is so tight it is hard to splice. I found a way but had to modify my process.

Great rope for making my lead lines. The diameter fits perfectly in my hand and the movement of the rope is great for training horses. I will definitely be buying this rope again!

Very Pleasing Tactility
Could not be more pleased with this rope. My couch keeps wanting to be a bed so I must restrain it and wanted something very black and nice to touch. Check and check. Every other aspect of the purchase was smooth and convenient. 10/10

Does the job
Purchased this three times in the last two months, twice for bell pull ropes and once for mooring lines. It works just like I would expect. I did buy it from CBKnot because they are small and local, (aside from being competitive in price.)
