Rope by the foot is listed as 1ft.  This rope will come in a continuous length.  For example, if you ordered 10 feet of rope, you will be shipped 10 continuous feet of rope and not 10, 1ft. pieces.

Rope Construction: Double Braid Polyester

A double braid rope refers to a braided rope cover over a braided rope core. Basically, it is a rope over another rope. These ropes are often flexible and easy to handle. Most double braid ropes are spliceable. Double braid rope is often called yacht braid and can be made with combinations of fibers or the same fibers. To get a stiffer or firmer double braid rope, the cover can be braided tighter which increases its “hardness.”

    Not what I was hoping for

    I was looking for a really soft double braid. This is not as stiff as some I've worked with, but doesn't meet my definition of soft. When the core is removed, the coat is still very stiff and unyielding. And I paid almost as much for postage as I did for product.

    fantastic bondage rope

    Bought this rope as a replacement for nylon in suspension bondage. Due to the low stretch, high strength of polyester it is safer in this application than most other types. In addition it is capable of being used in underwater bondage. I spent months researching a replacement for my previous rope kit and I am very happy with this.

    Great rope!! Not quite turquoise though. The turquoise is greener, like an aqua. Very pretty, but doesn't match any of my turquoise stuff.

    I absolutely love this rope!!! It is easy to tie, durable, and the bright colors stay bright! This is the perfect rope if you're looking for a great rope halter that isn't too stiff! I love it!
