Rope by the foot is listed as 1ft.  This rope will come in a continuous length.  For example, if you ordered 10 feet of rope, you will be shipped 10 continuous feet of rope and not 10, 1ft. pieces.

Rope Construction: Double Braid Polyester

A double braid rope refers to a braided rope cover over a braided rope core. Basically, it is a rope over another rope. These ropes are often flexible and easy to handle. Most double braid ropes are spliceable. Double braid rope is often called yacht braid and can be made with combinations of fibers or the same fibers. To get a stiffer or firmer double braid rope, the cover can be braided tighter which increases its “hardness.”

    Great rope!! Not quite turquoise though. The turquoise is greener, like an aqua. Very pretty, but doesn't match any of my turquoise stuff.

    I absolutely love this rope!!! It is easy to tie, durable, and the bright colors stay bright! This is the perfect rope if you're looking for a great rope halter that isn't too stiff! I love it!

    I bought the rainbow rope, and it's very bright and colorful. I'd give the rope 5 stars!! I'm taking off a star because shipping was so stinking expensive, I don't think I'll be able to buy again.

    Nice color selections, though there should be a few more added I feel. The rope is fantastic as far as tying halters go, very easy to work with.

    I think this is my favorite halter rope. Technically I guess it is the same as the other colors of the same type (double braid polyester), I think, but it seems to be just the perfect texture for tying halters. It is easy to knot yet holds the knots pretty well. It is a great color; dark enough not to show dirt too much, and goes with other standard colors of common horse tack. Also nice and soft under a bridle for horsie's face.
