Rope by the foot is listed as 1ft.  This rope will come in a continuous length.  For example, if you ordered 10 feet of rope, you will be shipped 10 continuous feet of rope and not 10, 1ft. pieces.  

Diameter:  1/4"

 One of the more popular diameters used by many natural horse trainers is 1/4 inch.  Stiff Rope which holds it's shape and form.

Rope Construction: Polyester Cover/Parallel Polyester core

When the core of the rope consists of one or more un-braided fibers running parallel to a braided “cover” the rope can be called a braided cover parallel core rope or cord. Halter cord uses this construction. Fibers used in the core of this rope are premium polyester fibers. Parallel core ropes are not considered “splicable.” Previously called 8TF.

Due to its strength, low stretch, excellent sunlight resistance, and excellent abrasion resistance properties, polyester is a preferred fiber for many natural horse trainers.

    1/4” Stiff Halter Rope

    This is my favorite rope to make halters out of. It is a little tough to tie. You really have to work your knots to get them pulled tight enough, but the end product is worth it. I find that the stiffer the rope, the easier it is to put on a horse because it holds it’s shape better than a softer rope. However, a softer rope packs away better in a pannier or saddle bags since it doesn’t hold it’s shape as well. I like to use a stiffer rope on a horse that may lean on your lead rope or doesn’t pay attention to you as well as he should. It signals faster than a soft rope without being too harsh. My only real complaint is that I wish I could get a black with orange tracer similar to the black with blue tracer(my personal favorite color). I got some folks here that would really like that color. Overall this rope makes the best halter.

    I am very pleased with all the rope I have received. The only thing that I have had issue with is all my emails say "Hello Chris" on them. But everything else has been great. and will continue to order from you all. Shipping is also fantastic, Its a good bit more expensive than other websites I have used but I'm happy with the fact it gets to me in a timely manner.
