Safety Spring Snaps, also know as Carabiners, are used in numerous applications. The first number, i.e., 9/32" is the thickness of the metal. The other number, i.e., 2 3/4" is the overall length. When used in equestrian applications with O Rings the most commonly used size is 5/16" x 3 1/8" OL.
